Under the supervision of faculty advisor Jenik Radon, served on a team of graduate policy and law student consultants to: i) Assess the risk profiles of indigenous communities in resource-rich areas under poorly-contracted mining excavation agreements and analyze the fiscal implications of renewing contracts under a social license; ii) Establish an analytical and legal framework gauging the impact of mining trends on communities and establish a written document for a social license of land use; iii) Provide policy recommendations to mitigate the social challenges this legal shift will create; iv) Research on community partnerships and social license implementation in the mining industry
